Elmaa Plumbing Solutions is my plumbing business, and after more than fifteen years there isn't much in the trade I haven't had my hands in. A good share of my work is leaks and blockages, the things that go wrong at no convenient time, and the rest runs from installations and water heaters through to the general upkeep that keeps a building's plumbing out of trouble. I'm a certified plumber, so what I put in is done to a standard rather than to whatever gets me out the door. I work for whoever needs the job done, which means a house one day, a landlord's block the next, then a business or a site after that. Each wants something slightly different from me, and a landlord chasing the same leak across several units is a different conversation from a homeowner whose water heater has gone cold overnight. I cover Nairobi and the towns around it, including Kiambu, Ruiru, Ngong, Kikuyu and Ongata Rongai.
Fifteen years on the tools means I can usually tell you early what's actually wrong, so you're not paying me to reason it out slowly in front of you. That counts for most with leaks, where the wet patch and the source are often nowhere near each other, and going straight at the visible damage just means doing the job twice. Because I take on the whole range rather than a slice of it, you're not lining up one person for the blockage and somebody else for the heater. I can deal with what I find while I'm already there, on the same visit. And being certified means the pipework you can't see once everything is closed back up was done properly, which is the part of any plumbing job you otherwise have to take purely on trust.
